3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App unlawfully
• Manipulate the rewards system
• Create multiple accounts or share survey content
• Complete surveys or product reviews dishonestly

4. Rewards Program

a. Earning Points

• Earned via surveys or approved activities

b. Redeeming Points

• $50 minimum required
• PayPal only
• Valid UK or USA PayPal account required
• User is responsible for PayPal details
• Transaction fees and delays not Fancensus's responsibility

c. Fraud & Abuse

• Points may be withheld or accounts terminated for fraud, suspected fraud or misuse
• Points have no cash value until redeemed
• Inactivity for 12 months may result in expiration

5. Game Ratings and Content

• Must be genuine and not offensive
• Fancensus may moderate content

6. Intellectual Property

• All content is owned or licensed by Fancensus
• No unauthorized reproduction allowed

7. Termination

• Accounts may be suspended or terminated for breaches

8. Disclaimers and Liability

• App is provided "as-is"
• Fancensus is not liable for indirect losses

9. Changes to These Terms

• Updates may be made and notified in-App or by email

11. Competitions & Prize Draws

11.1 Eligibility

Competitions and prize draws (“Promotions”) are open to UK residents aged 18 or over, unless otherwise stated. Employees (and their immediate families) of Fancensus.com Limited, its agents, or anyone professionally connected with the Promotion are not eligible to enter. Entrants must register a valid and verifiable email address or supported third-party platform and comply with all account verification requirements.

11.2 Entry Requirements

Entry methods, opening and closing dates, and any specific eligibility criteria will be clearly stated in the promotional materials for each Promotion. Unless otherwise specified, only one entry per person is permitted. Automated, bulk, or third-party entries will be disqualified. Where applicable, free entry routes will be provided and clearly communicated.

11.3 Winner Selection & Notification

Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received, using a fair and independent process. For prize draws with a minimum entry threshold, such as the Nintendo Switch 2 competition, the draw will only take place once the specified number of eligible entries (e.g., 2,000) has been reached. If this threshold is not met by the advertised closing date, the draw may be postponed until the threshold is achieved or as otherwise stated in the Promotion’s specific terms. Winners will be notified using the contact details provided at registration within 7 days of the draw or selection. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within 14 days, Fancensus.com Limited reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.

11.4 Prize Delivery & Unclaimed Prizes

Prizes will be dispatched within 14 days of winner confirmation, unless otherwise stated. No cash alternative will be offered unless expressly stated. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. If a prize cannot be delivered due to incorrect details provided by the winner, or if unclaimed, Fancensus.com Limited reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select a new winner.

11.5 Publicity & Data Protection

By entering a Promotion, entrants agree that their name and (if applicable) county may be published or made available in accordance with UK legal requirements. Personal data provided will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and solely for the purposes of administering the Promotion, unless explicit consent is given for other uses. Winners may be required to participate in reasonable publicity without further compensation.

11.6 Third-Party Prizes

Where a prize is supplied by a third party, Fancensus.com Limited accepts no responsibility or liability for any defects, faults, or issues with the prize once delivered. Any warranty or guarantee is as offered by the manufacturer or supplier.

11.7 Modification & Cancellation

Fancensus.com Limited reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel any Promotion in the event of circumstances outside its reasonable control, or if the integrity of the Promotion is compromised. Any changes will be communicated as soon as reasonably possible.

11.8 Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute regarding the Promotion, the decision of Fancensus.com Limited is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

11.9 Legal Compliance & Jurisdiction

Promotions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

All Promotions are run in accordance with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (CAP Code) and all applicable consumer protection legislation.

11.10 Tax Responsibility

Any tax liability arising from the receipt of a prize is the sole responsibility of the winner.

12. Corporate Structure and Subsidiary Disclosure

12.1 Subsidiary Status

Guruu is a trading brand and wholly owned subsidiary of Fancensus Limited, a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 06698398). All rights, obligations, and liabilities arising from or relating to the Guruu app and services are the responsibility of Fancensus Limited.

12.2 Authority and Binding Effect

By using the Guruu app and services, you acknowledge and agree that Fancensus acts as the principal and is fully responsible for all contractual obligations, including but not limited to rewards, competitions, and user support.

12.3 Limitation of Liability

Where any third-party products or services are provided through Guruu (including prizes supplied by third parties), Fancensus disclaims any liability for defects, faults, or issues arising from such third-party products or services. Any warranties or guarantees are provided solely by the third-party supplier.

12.4 Disclosure and Transparency

Fancensus complies with all applicable UK corporate disclosure requirements regarding its subsidiaries, including the preparation and publication of consolidated accounts where required. Further information about Fancensus and its group structure is available upon request.

13. Disclaimer

The footage and gameplay featured in our packs are used under the principles of Fair Use for purposes such as commentary, criticism, education, and entertainment. Guruu does not claim ownership of any of the clips, trailers, or gameplay shown. All rights belong to their respective owners, partners, and subsidiaries. If you are a copyright holder and believe your content has been used improperly, please contact the Guruu Support team.

14. Expansion of Eligibility and Cashout Across Europe

Guruu and Fancensus.com Limited reserve the right to extend operations to European Economic Area (EEA) countries and other European territories in addition to the UK and USA.

Where applicable, users residing in eligible European countries will be able to participate fully in the Guruu app activities, including earning rewards and cashing out through supported payment methods.

Eligibility criteria, withdrawal methods, and minimum payout thresholds may vary by country and will be clearly communicated via in-app notifications or email prior to implementation.

Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with any local laws and tax obligations related to their participation and receipt of rewards.

Guruu and Fancensus.com Limited will continue to comply with all relevant data protection and consumer protection regulations applicable across the jurisdictions in which it operates.
